Buddy volunteers are ages 12+. "Buddies" must be comfortable working with special needs youth, and be kind and patient. Volunteers support players and may physically help players hit and catch and assist with running bases. Buddy Ball is fast paced fun! Baseball experience is not required. 

 We are looking for positive, kind, upbeat, fun volunteers to help our players have a safe and fun afternoon playing ball. Ideally, volunteers will commit to helping at least 3 of the 5 games as players build relationships with the volunteers. 

Service hours will be given to volunteers. 

The joy of helping others be able to play ball keeps our volunteers having fun and coming back each week.  The players look forward to seeing their buddies each week. 

Small group/team opportunity: Occasionally (1-2 times a season) we might have a team or groups join us to help our regular volunteer buddies.   

 Games will be played on Sundays at 4 pm at James Park Field 2. Volunteers should arrive at 3:30 pm.
